1° DAY : Portisco -> Cala di Volpe -> Porto Cervo (10 N.M)

The first day a very relaxing sailing is foreseen, leaving Portisco in the morning heading north for 3 n.m., and casting the anchor after just half an hour sailing in Cala di Volpe; this bay is characterized by a long beech and the famous namesake hotel. The shelter is very good with all winds, so this bay is sometimes overcrowded mainly by big yachts. From here you will head Porto Cervo, a 7 n.m. sailing, about 1 hour. Take contact per phone at 0789-905605 or by VHF channel 9, informing them of your arrival and asking for the availability of a proper boat place. The village and the marina of Porto Cervo are in two different sides of the bay: the downtown is nearby the old harbour, the marina is in the bottom of the natural fiord.
