You can book your boat through our search engine on this website, by sending us a request via email, Whatsapp or calling us over the phone; you will receive the booking confirmation with the request of your data and all the necessary information regarding payment terms, charter contract, security deposit.
Our charter contract is finalized remotely with advanced electronic signature immediately after booking is confirmed, a simple procedure for which we will provide you with detailed instructions.
It is the only valid document for sailing with a Cruising Charter boat; we advise you to read it in full in order to immediately clarify the rights and obligations of the parties.
Between 4 and 1 days before boarding, we will contact you to finalize the security deposit remotely by credit card, by phone or e-mail (MO.TO authorized procedure). We do not finalize deposits at the base on the day of embarking
We recommend you to call us before your arrival, to agree on the check-in time; we will ask you to leave your luggage directly in front of the booked boat and to come to the office with a maximum of 2 people, contract holder and skipper, with the boarding pass, a personal document and the printed and signed charter contract.
If no further extras are needed, you can board for a self-video check-in, at the end of which a member of our staff will finalize the check-list with you and provide you with any further technical explanations you may need. In case of additional extras, you can order and pay for them at the office before boarding.
The checklist is the document that certifies the state of the boat upon delivery, the presence on board of all the equipment, the operating status of the boat in all its parts and the refundable commercial value of the equipment in the event of loss.
Most of the problems on board are due to mistakes in the use of the boat equipment; almost always everything is solved with a repetition of the routine explanations made during the check-in time, but keep in mind that at sea even a little problem can become a big one; study the video check-in carefully from home, and follow the additional instructions of our staff once on board; ask for more information if something is not clear.
In case you started from the Portisco base and you have problems that you cannot solve, contact us as soon as possible on the number provided at check-in: remember that the first you notify us, the sooner we can help you.
Complaints and refund requests for malfunctions not reported to us during the cruise, will not be taken into consideration.
As per contract, our area of direct operation in case of problems is between La Caletta di Siniscola in the south and Santa Teresa di Gallura in the north, excluding the islands; beyond these points our assistance provides longer intervention times.
You will have to return to the base the evening before disembarkation, according to times provided at check-in, unless otherwise agreed. At check-out you will be asked for a report of the cruise, the possible occurrence of extraordinary events, the general condition of the boat and its equipment and fittings; although the boat is checked by us at check-out, this does not release you from the responsibility of any false declarations or omissions in front of witnesses, concerning hidden damage to the hull, engine, mast and sails: these are crimes punishable by law, as they can compromise the safety of life of subsequent crews.
If you have caused damages that can be valued at check-out, you can pay directly at the base; otherwise, in the following days the file will be followed by our administrative offices, which will give you the documents, information and instructions to proceed with the final settlement.
